Singapore's Paragon CM Targets North Asia Wealth Market

Singapore-headquartered has set up a North Asia presence in the form of Paragon Capital Management (HK) Private Limited.
The organisation has also appointed Arthur Fong as CEO and Faye Ng as chief operating officer of PCMHK, Paragon said in a statement earlier this week.
PCMHK will deliver investment insights to sophisticated clients and accredited investors. It will also offer services in family succession planning, private markets and corporate advisory.
The parent firm, Paragon Capital Management, has more than S$1 billion ($742 million) in client AuM. Its CEO is Paul Lee, who is also chief investment officer.
C-suite
Fong has served in a variety of leadership roles throughout his 30-year career in the financial services industry, including positions at Citigroup Private Bank and UBS. While at Bank of Singapore, he was responsible for overseeing Singapore-based Greater China bankers, investment, and business management teams. In 2014, Fong was amongst the inaugural batch to be conferred the title of “IBF Fellow” by the Institute of Banking & Finance (IBF), the standard-setting body for financial sector competencies in Singapore.
Ng, the COO, is a senior private banker with over 15 years of industry experience in Hong Kong and Singapore. She has covered multi-family offices and intermediaries for most of her career. Most recently, Ng was executive director of intermediaries at VP Wealth Management (Hong Kong) and prior to this, she was executive director at Pictet & Cie (Europe) in Hong Kong and Julius Baer in Singapore.
Fund range
The Paragon Alpha VCC (variable capital company) runs three open-ended public market funds and two close-ended private market funds, namely: Paragon Alpha I, Paragon Income I, Paragon Systematic Advantage Global Equity Fund, Paragon Ventures I and Global Real Estate Alternative & Tactical Fund. The public market funds allow clients to access a broad range of investment opportunities across different asset classes, including global equities and fixed income. Paragon’s early-stage VC fund, PV1 focuses on identifying and nurturing promising startups with high growth potential.
